Hello, I'm Shirley Dazafounder of Shirley Daza Aesthetic Centerand this is the true story that gave meaning to my vocation: caring for, transforming, and supporting people who, like me, have learned to take care of themselves, love themselves, and prioritize their well-being from a place of self-love.
I arrived in the United States like many others: without knowing exactly how to start, but with the determination to move forward. While working as a babysitter for a family, I decided to pursue an education. I studied Therapeutic Massage and Lymphatic Drainage at Florida Professional Instituteand later earned my certification as an Esthetician at Celebrity School..
After graduating, I started working by offering massages at home. For almost two years, I provided lymphatic drainage, therapeutic massages, and post-surgical treatments. I traveled from house to house, with my supplies in the car, gradually building a network of clients who valued not only my hands but also the care I put into every detail.
During that time, I became pregnant. And in the fourth month, a diagnosis of gestational diabetes changed everything. It was a decisive moment: I understood that I needed to change my habits, not just for myself, but for the life growing inside me. I changed my diet, started moving differently, learned to understand my body and health from a more conscious place. That change, though difficult, saved my life.
My daughter was born prematurely. She had Down syndrome and a heart condition. It was a test from God, one of those that shakes your soul and teaches you to see life from a different perspective. Those were difficult months, filled with doctors, intensive care, and a lot of faith.
When we were finally discharged, I continued working. I attended clients in their homes, with my equipment in the car, organizing my days between medical appointments and massages. Over time, I rented a treatment room, and with a lot of love, that space grew. Today, we are a center recognized for our results, for the close connection with each client, and for our human, therapeutic, and aesthetic approach all at once.
Our mission is to help each person look and feel better, but from a deeper place, where aesthetics become integral well-being. We work every day to help our clients restore balance between body, mind, and emotions because we believe that true beauty starts from within.
Shirley Daza Aesthetic Center is not just a place to "look better." It's a space to reconnect with yourself, to breathe, to heal, and to remember that what you've been through can also be your strength.
Welcome to this little piece of my story. It can also become part of yours.
